Inks, sweeeet.
His logo alone is pretty nice.
His illustrations take me back to comics & graffiti - sweet as.

Nice hands, details and nuances.
The hotrods and characters with life (postures, expressions, customes) work nicely.
And, he does animation too, Bonus!

Something to strive towards and I'm inspired!

Kseniya Simonova's time well spent

No undo buttons here folks. Super awesome!

The undertone is really strong. I wouldn't mind having
a gander at the lyrics/meanings of them folk songs.
A fleeting performance art piece. Brilliant.

Belle & Clarkes

Trying to marry two different styles in one book.
It's possible,  I'll figure it out. Belle isn't exactly a ghost.Perhaps I'll make it a black and white picture book.

Collab creations

Something I've always wanted to post. It's an unfinished collaboration piece with Käthu Kürich.

Her delicate touches and details are so nice and makes up most of the quality of the piece. To collab with real mediums I'm all for it, but this children's book :P will have to be through digital medium. Sending creative vibes your way.

digital and trads

Digital beachgoers. Leather tanned, check!

Some wobbly watercolours ruined by black lines. :P Learning watercolour is like playing chess, you have to be 5 steps ahead -
I've never been good at chess, but t
he battle has just begun.

Pen and ink.  Part of the battle also.

I need skulls in my repertoire. Expect to see them as keychains and such, perhaps.

Lightwave to ZBrush workflow

Still tryin to figure a workflow out, but here is one archer character by Tandy1000 from the CA forums.
He was nice enough to let me hack one of his beautiful and ugly concept creatures into this thing right here. Some type of Boar/Bat/Man thing. Could be a deer in there too, we'll never know.

726 polys, bow & arrows included. Still has to be rigged and furred. Those fur would definitely be nice silouhettes while in motion. The fur could be plain poly, bit the motion if so wouldn't be as be fluid. Maybe. There's definitely tricks that I need to learn.

I'll have to stop here, I made the noob mistake of not blocking in the hands. Doh! Oh well, time passed quick when it's something sweet.

Cheers Tandy.
Cheers guys n gals.

Value system

I'm trying to figure out a concise way to show values
before putting colour in.edit: Everything has a gradient. Every crack and bump.Different materials, render light differently.

1. I do selections, the thigh for example, then a black and white
gradient towards the light source.
Finish over it and fill in with incremental changes, for creases, scars, whatever.
But at least it kind of blocks in and reminds me what values it should be around.

2. I've only recently started to keep a 6 step grey for easy 'eye dropping'.
It kind of works for now, so I'll keep using it.
